The Context

ASTRA Museum is one of the most recognizable cultural brands in Romania and the largest open-air museum in Europe. Being one of our favorite places to visit, contributing to its story was both a privilege and a passion project.

The Objective

The primary goal of this rebranding was to craft a visual identity that resonates deeply with the symbolism of the Romanian village. We wanted to move beyond trends and anchor the brand in the authentic spiritual and architectural motifs found within the museum grounds.

The twisted rope signifies the eternal cycle of nature, a symbol of infinity, which, in our rebranding process, was one of the most inspiring elements, as our effort was to create an evergreen identity.
